The Awareness Period happens when the puppy is approximately three to four weeks old. This is when the puppy is able to first use his senses of sight and hearing. It is also a time when the puppy needs his mother the most and a stable environment.
Learning begins during this period and it is the time when he learns what it is to be a dog.
